To switch from radians to degrees mode, follow these steps:

1. Press .
2. Select Settings & Status > Document Settings.
3. In the Angle dropdown, select Radian or Degree.

Suppose you have to compute the exact value in radians of \( \sin^{-1}\left(\frac{1}{2}\right) \) on your calculator.

1. Put your calculator in radians mode since you want the result in radians (see above).
2. Write \( \sin^{-1}(1/2) \).
3. Press , select Number > Convert to Decimal, and press .

   

Suppose you have the following computation to perform:

\( 60^\circ + \frac{\pi}{2} \) rads, and you need the answer in radians.

1. Put your calculator in radians mode since you want the result in radians (see above).
2. Enter \( 60 \), then press and select to access the units \( ^\circ \) (for degrees).
3. Enter \( + \frac{\pi}{2} \).
4. Press , select Number > Convert to Decimal, and press to convert the result into decimal form.
